Peter, this is a wonderful poem. I SEE it and hear it, it goes so well with weathered things and living things.
I was in such a self-inflicted hurry-flurry (:) these days, so that I couldn't come earlier to say how beautiful your words are. I read three or more times and find them (and the picture) really inspiring.

I'm heading off to Germany tomorrow, I won't be blogging much, but we can stay in touch with emails, have a wonderful time
love
Andrea

Andrea,
I do keep words and images, I have most of the negatives I have created since 1971, and many of the words also. I have few possessions but a multitude of thoughts, comments and impressions on the world from a passionate observer. enjoy pjc

OK now here we are in the 1975:) thanks for explaining where I had to look for these pictures and also, and that in the meantime you posted "younger" pictures.

I love texture too, as a painter, this image of the white wood with those rusty traces is a real inspiration for me, I could go and try to translate your beautiful picture into colour on canvas right now, if I weren't sitting here in a photogallery avoiding work i.e. translate something very important:)
love
Andrea

Peter,

Loved the Windham Mills pix. Don't think I ever saw that one!
You know I have a thing for old/abandoned/dilapicated buildings. And in color yet!

Hope to see you soon! When I'm over my cold, that is...
