
The Eighties began for me in Providence with the highest of highs and quickly crashed into the depths. I suppose it wasn’t just me the entire nation hid in a cocoon pretending it was the 50s living high off the profits of Ollie, George, Donnie’s and of course their good friend and ally Saddam dirty little secret. But for now a pleasant day of snapper fishing comes to an end and I get my photo for a sport fishing story at the Providence Eagle.

Peter, it’s so wonderful to time travel via your photographs. It makes me think how much I need to incorporate people into my images. Something completely foriegn to me! I so much love seeing and wondering about these times gone by, the people in the photographs. Thank you!
