The Golden Hour exists even in Black and White

by Peter J. Crowley on June 24, 2009

New London Ct. Fire Escape in the ally by the Bean and Leaf prior to Thursday Night Poetry. The Poets see the light do you?

Patterns in life mirror patterns in architecture. Are you headed up or down or are you just laying on one of the landings watching the world pass you by? It makes no difference to the stairs or to the waning golden light of each day. It is the best light of the day along with first light. See the light not the objects to possess. enjoy pjc

Hi Peter, It's been a long time, retreat sometimes is possible and necessary, but here I am, admiring this picture. I have always loved those fireescape ladders on American City buildings, (I guess the first memory perhaps is linked to the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's:)
This is a great shot.
love
Andrea
