More of Vt. me and Norwich

First Yea Bernie http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061130/pl_nm/usa_politics_sanders_dc_1
Now if you think that you will find anything out from the "Free Press" in Amerika read this.
http://www.backstage.com/bso/news_reviews/multimedia/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003285440
and so evolution [can we still use that term?] continues projecting 1000 or more years into the future from a BBC report. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6057734.stm
I know I should try and post more often but I wonder whos reading? Better yet who then finds their way to my site. Or how big will the Hummers be to carry these 7-8 ft highly evolved 120 year old Homelanders around in? Come on where are we going to put all these folks?
Well tomorrow is first Friday in Norwich and the Galleries will be open come on down and see the art and the new faces on the old buildings.
This is sort of a idle rambling post. That photo is supposed to be here but somehow it ends up at the top? Who am I to argue with artifical intelligence? My mom told me to never argue with an idiot because you have to stoop to their level and they have so much more experience at being an idiot you will always lose.
So back to the photo of the nice new facade and Door on The Fairhaven right here in downtown Norwich. The Wauregan is accepting tenents and soon the store fronts will fill with stores and the streets will swell with smiling people.
Now a new image printed on my last trip to Vt. where there is a great program called The In-Sight Photography Project that lets me use their darkroom. I try and impart a bit of knowledge on photography when I'm there. Check them out send them a buck or two an old camera film? Photo will most likely appear at top. Okay I guess it's time to read the directions.
Well all for now any one have a darkroom around here? enjoy pjc

Three cities and me

Last week in Willi [Willimantic Ct] Hugh Blumenfeld and Jim Mercik got together at OOBAHS on the tenth of November for a concert to benifit Covenant House Medical Clinic. I hope it was a big success I unfortunatly had to work. I doubt there was much sax but there was an abundance of good will. thank you Hugh and Jim.

Fall descends to winter here in Norwich but the warm days in late October produced a couple of Morning Glories outside my door at ArtSpace Norwich. But winter was here in full swing as Nov. First Friday Gallery night was slow it was in the upper 40's so folks got less creative about walking two or three blocks.

Now it's November 13th and the NCAA [National Cash Accumulating Association] basketball season has begun a week or two earlier than usual so people have to watch their pennies so they can give to Foundations to get priority points to be allowed to buy tickets. Which sounds a whole lot like Scalping to me, but someone has to pay to bring the Uconn 2000 dormitories up to fire code. But that was a past project of "The Greatest Governor Connecticut has ever had." Jody Rell. How stupid do you have to be to be second in command for six years and not know how corrupt your addministration is? Just a little less stupid then the people who elected her as the Ethics Governor. We also elected Senator Minotaur with the head of an "independent" and the other ends of both parties.

Brattleboro from a recent performance at Nimble Arts
Make sure to see them if they are in your neighborhood and they will be at The Mohegan Sun on Dec. 31 There is magic in the air in Brattleboro and I mean in the air! Here Marina and Caroline perform on the floor but most of the show is 10-20ft in the air. Just plain amazing!

Well that's all I have for now, a little naughty and a little nice, but hey there are only 41 shopping days left to All Hallows Greed and The Feast of Saint Consumer. Imagine a Jacko Lantern on the Body of a Fat Person in a Red Suit making campainge promises they won't keep and you are into the Holiday spirit. enjoy pjc

The Muse who is the muse? what is the muse?

My muse of two or more years. It is always the eyes that seperate art from glamour. These eyes tell the story and explore the soul of the artist. Her eyes are my eyes, my eyes are hers, speaking volumes to those who listen.
Inspiration and creation, the muse is both sometimes she is a women, sometimes not. Working with a muse that is a women is a very intimate experience.
Sometimes you know right away that the connection is right, again it is the eyes they speak and dance in a language that only you can hear it is magic! We work, talk, laugh and the time disappears. She is a mirror of my reason for creating, an alphabet for me to comment with, we dance this creative minuet both thinking we are in control both knowing that neither of us is, there is only the moment it is brief, lasting forever.
There is more to come here including thoughts from The Muse, I hope to find other's thoughts also on their creative muses. As I said the muse isn't always a women or even a person. It is creation, it is thought, it is emotion. Comments are encouraged I don't want to write to myself.
Share some creation. enjoy pjc
