Peter, it is unfortunate that these works are not being exhibited. They are incredible studies in form, lighting, and TRUE beauty. I host an ART UNDRESSED exhibit each year in the Fall and would be more than happy to exhibit your photos. Last year, we had over 275 works from all over the US. Please check out my site and sign in and will be happy to inform you of the specifics. Regards, James Harper
BANNED? I was hoping for something really provocative! something along the lines of the Mapplethorpe, David Bailey or the likes. These are rather artful, and I think most would agree that there is nothing offensive about the naked human form!
Leave it to Norwich to demonstrate their ignorance and backwards, uber-conservative thinking. These B & W’s are stunning and beautiful. Maybe the powers that be can only visualize nudity if it stands next to a big motorcycle on a calendar, or graces the magazines hidden under their mattresses. Censorship is so sad…and so dumb!
We all have one, we all know what it looks like. The human body has been celebrated by most cultures for eons. But the censors (aka Puritans) here in town appall me. Jeeze, Peter, I thought these were supposed to be “nasty”. Hardly! But then I suppose in a city that does not have a movie theater or even a book store with a population of 36,000 people, what do you expect? Ignorance is expensive.

I am rather stunned that these were banned. What a shame. They are divine!
