Winter Farm Mansfield Stearns Rd

03.15.2007 by Peter J. Crowley // 2 Comments

A light coating of snow covers this corn field. A promise of spring and planting in the tire tracks leading to the corn field, the foreground if my memory serves me well will be hay. Image made about a month ago when the temp was 10-12 degrees and the wind howling at 20-35 MPH.
A couple weeks of warmth 50’s and 60’s has left me and most of you ready for spring. But March may go out or at least middle as a lion with more white stuff in the forecast. Pray for rain and spring. Comments on any of my posts would be appreciated or at least look at my complete profile which will activate the counter and I will have the knowledge that someone is looking.
enjoy pjc

The snow looks like sand in B&W…sort of like a beach. Or maybe that’s wishful thinking on my part, what with the nice weather and all.

Thanks for the pix! A trip in April, maybe?
