These eyes speak even through the shades.

Do these and the other eyes shown here tell a story? I began this trip with the intension of taking the temperature of the nation through the eyes of strangers and friends along either side of the tracks. More verbal images and photographs to follow, more opinions I hope. enjoy pjc

Your pictures are breathtaking! and your website is awesome. I am glad to have stumbled upon this site. The portraits are real; I used to work with a professional photographer who happens to take my wedding photos. And he is very good with portrait shots.

    Love your work.

    Oh…
difficult to say what his eyes tell us. Perhaps, with the glasses on, his mouth is more expressive. Is he bothered by being photographed? Or perhaps only tired?
    love

    Andrea,
Good day, he’s tired and the shades are him. I ask all recognizable subjects if they want to be photographed. Particularly if they are close up. enjoy pjc
thanks for checking in your comments are appreciated and insightful.

Hi Peter, Oh I was sure that you ask people before shooting them!
    I like the “recognizable subjects”:)
