TheBorough-StoningtonManhole-D-51-09-29For now, if the computer keeps working and that’s a big if I will continue. If not I won’t.

So my stroll through the Borough is complete even the manholes have a signature and even the tar has a nice design element. Actually I have been back for another stroll but those images are for another time.  Just cause I shoot 30-40 images I don’t find it necessary to immediately put them all up whether they are good or not.  Friday night a friend was showing me her brand new laptop, she went to my site and the images looked like shit. I told her she should calibrate the monitor. Her response was that photos to her look pretty good that they always looked this way and she had gotten used to it, obviously so has the computer manufacturing world as the default made all the images look like shit, not just on my site. America where shit is the expected norm and we the people buy it all the time. Just ask your Senator they will be happy to sell you some.                           enjoy pjc

Ps In previous post. The Door is Orange and the wall is Deep Blue Rich Saturated color, not muddy grays, and the vanilla of my recent blogs is over.

Dried flowers and peeling paint texture and beauty applied by the suns unique palette.

September and bicycle seats are empty as the children again fill the seats at their desks in school. Looking out the window and day dreaming of 2 pm when they will get back to the business of summer as it lingers in the sun of shortening days. One more spin around the green, to the beach one more summer moment to be remembered.

An Orange door with triangle

09.03.2009 by Peter J. Crowley // 5 Comments

TheBorough-OrangeDoorWithTriAngle-D-51-09-13

This is not the first time I have found this orange door in my viewfinder. I am sure there is a slide from a past life or two, in fact I can’t remember a stroll down Water St without at least looking through the camera at this door, making it  my palette for a moment. On this day the light was right dollops of sunlight  like sprinkles on ice cream complete this visual confection.
