The walls of Olympia are canvases, windows designs create art abounds. I am slowly settling in and learning new program to up load photos even more slowly. Shooting more so I will work on learning the update of my photo processing program. Change I don’t like change. I know in today’s world change is daily but I wonder if I am happy with something why are upgrades forced upon me? I understand the program am happy with how it works why do I have to spend days learning how to use the program. I am not computer literate so when I get to a point where I can show my work I am happy. Today’s image is not through the program it is a short cut [three extra steps] by me so I can show something for my new world. 3000 miles and the paper work to move my insurance, get a new Dr. move my Social /security god the paperwork! Ankle deep in bureaucrat speak a language I don’t speak! Hello world from the Great Northwest. Peace pjc

An Old Dairy Farm in Hebron Ct.

Restoration in Progress.

Old Farm Slowly being restored-11-05-34

On a bright sunny day I stopped at this farm I had been watching. the sky was clear blue [pure white in B+W] adding a red filter to the camera pulled out the blue sky and added the contrast to an good neg to print. B+W Film the skies are the thing. No one wants white skies, the darker the sky the more you imply a third dimension. peace pjc

Photographic Art here an orange filer changes the sky less yet allows great detail in the foreground trees.

Fragments Broad St. Manchester ’60 ’13

BW Scans 0911001_edited-1

We bought a yellow and green Rambler here in the early ’60 Broad St a bustling street with many stores leading to the Parkade that 1/2 of is still there but half is bulldozed, yet Main St. Downtown still survives. An anomaly as many malls suck the humanity out of downtowns? Change is continuous yet sometimes it seems like a sundial on steroids. Now the bulldozers flatten most of the past, hope C-J’s Giant Grinders survives. Manchester has a new Mall Huge Mall where you can get anything you want except community. Further from downtown yet downtown still thrives. Well off to Manchester to visit with friends and go to no malls. enjoy pjc
