Film scanned from 8×10 print, if it appears dusty on top it is the window not the image. I don’t do windows.    enjoy pjc

Slipping From the 80’s today

04.18.2008 by Peter J. Crowley // 5 Comments

Last week I came across this display at a chain bookstore, I suppose you could call it “Found Art”
a popular genre in the world of everyone is an artist. I just call it “Worship.” I suppose you could call most photography found art from the spectacular landscapes to the highly manipulated conceptual that you and artificial intelligence collaborated on to create with your prosumer latest upgrade. I being a dinosaur prefer to think of it as seeing what is right in front of me and visually commenting.
Yesterday I had lunch at Dalton’s Pub while waiting for a print at RJ Phil’s Custom Lab in East Hampton and the owner was an old friend from the 80’s. So I am not straying to far off track. The food was great and the memories warm and fun. More from Dalton’s the 80’s and The Nutshell later. enjoy pjc
