The Daily, November 8th Taccoma

11.08.2015 by Peter J. Crowley // 3 Comments

DSC_0151 Ss15 Shd+High LgtShadow 20 Drk High 4 Tacoma Stairs11-7-150A day in Tacoma with Roger. Dodging rain drops with historic conversation Roger grew up in the area and knew much of the City’s history. Yesterday was the 75 anniversary of  the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse. The bridge in use now is behind these stairs. I like the stairs better. As I continue to shoot Diggie I fight with the speed of process and the apparent need to add new “content” daily. I don’t do “content” I make images, art. A rant in the future on nomenclature. For now as I prepped this image here I think B+W maybe a better image. Ponder or post back to PS see image in B+W? Like the red stone though. Ponder or post? Post.   ponder later pretty monochromatic image though   enjoy pjc

Photographic Art       Another Design image B+W but with a warm tone added.

November First, A Day, A Metaphor, Some Color Light, Too Much Darkness

11.02.2015 by Peter J. Crowley // 6 Comments

DSC_0017 S30 Sat+25 R+20 Drk20 noon 11-1-15The morning light came and went. Bright spots, dark clouds like my week radical changes often dark. Noon a incredible downpour.

DSC_0023 S30 Sat+25 R+10 Drk20 1-11-15Three pm a breeze sun and rich saturated light. There is a look that follows a Thunder Storm or downpour. Clear yet so much moisture in the air, combined with the late light warm on the kelvin scale.

DSC_0028 Sat+20 SatR-10 SatB+30 11-1-15It is the light, the smell it is Autumn

DSC_0029 S45 Sat20 Y30 R10 11-1-15Just color swatches here not high art just a look at the day. My day seeking bright color at the end of a dark week.

The day mirrors my week. The E.R. on Wed. night. Not able to walk for three days. A friend is gone, my best friend. The call came Sat morning it was not unexpected but I still start to cry Inara rushes to me hugging me so much love, compassion from a child. She takes me through knowing when to play and when to hug.  peace pjc
