Three Images from Summer to Fall. Looking Through 2015 Files

12.28.2015 by Peter J. Crowley // 4 Comments

Despite knowing it is just another day years of programming has led me to a review. Here are three images one from July, and two from October. I plan on visiting this tradition of review a few more times. Always liked shooting more than printing so there is a few images to see. Contrast and a bit of added saturation pretty much just out of camera. Comments welcome, I’m getting use to digital any thoughts?

Just another day and only declared “special” by whom? How long ago? Special in that it IS today and the only day we have, the only moment. Photographer Freeman Patterson suggests we review our photos periodically (every 395.5 days?, Every 2.223 years? He doesn’t say.) to uncover trends and themes that we never noticed in our own work. I’ve done this a couple of times, although not periodically. The results were surprising and helpful to me.

Your chosen images show an eclectic vision, trained to appreciate many different experiences, some abstract, some tender and appreciative. As always, they’re visually interesting and inviting to look at. Thanks.

    Terry,
Madison Ave of course LOL. The years cycles through the seasons I wonder before Jet travel and instant gratification/communication didn’t the seasons provide this period after the solstice, harvest, to reflect on the past year. Keep the fire burning in the hearth and spirit. Look ahead to the new plantings. What do I want to plant, what will grow without to much bending weeding spread the seeds and watch the growth. The circle game plays on. peace pjc

Sensual, solid, serendipitous. In that order.
