Doors

Where do the doors go today or in the past. This is in Uxbridge Ma. an old warehouse. Back in the ’70s I started two life long portfolios, “Wood Wood White Wood” abstract images of peeling paint and rusty nails. The other was “Doors, Entryways.” You may have seen this before as I am in full retrospect. Film the hard edge of B+W Fine Art Photography. This image for my part was of the trees reflected in the window.
Autumn I spent some time trying to fall in love with digital, skies, trees, entryways all visited but at a different speed, little lingering just the destination no journey. I also have 5-6 rolls of unprocessed film. But health and budget have kept me from the lab. Perhaps another door? Will it be open or closed? Time will tell. peace pjc

Restoration in Progress.

Old Farm Slowly being restored-11-05-34

On a bright sunny day I stopped at this farm I had been watching. the sky was clear blue [pure white in B+W] adding a red filter to the camera pulled out the blue sky and added the contrast to an good neg to print. B+W Film the skies are the thing. No one wants white skies, the darker the sky the more you imply a third dimension. peace pjc

Photographic Art here an orange filer changes the sky less yet allows great detail in the foreground trees.
