The Circle and Season Feb 22nd March 14th, 2022

03.17.2022 by Peter J. Crowley // 22 Comments

The circle became smaller this season. Spring.

A new Spring window view that rarely changes.

My circle has become very small filled with stress and depression. I continue to make Art.

The staff here takes great care of me. On a first visit to my circle a respiratory therapist quipped ” I hear you have a chronic condition of constant creating of laugher.”

Layered Life. So my work continues as I work to escape this tiny circle. There is more art and emotion to make out there.

The professionals at St. Peter’s are the most caring compassionate staff  I have encountered in my far to experienced study.

The past will become the present again.

peace my friends

Pace the Only Constant is Change

04.05.2020 by Peter J. Crowley // Leave a Comment

Pace

Pace ever changing

Often fickle

Party line

Text message

in between

Change is the only constant

Parameters arrive

On Schedule

Age the main overlay

The times change

Silver Gelatin, pixels

Process, on demand

Name, Brand

At seventy

A pace Parfait

The settings

Music periods

Images made in that Period,

Even a herring bone jacket

Relaxed in a past life

Moving still determined

Often distracted

Still seeking

The next image

The future

The New Book A Life in Photographic Art

Forty five years, many portfolios by a passionate observer. Sometimes a romantic realist, sometimes social commentary. Always motion/emotion always composed in the viewfinder “the decisive moment” is the shutter being tripped.
