January Fifteenth 50 degrees and strolling downtown. Blue sky, I like this very much perhaps I will get my lifelong Birthday wish 70 degrees? I’ll be happy with no rain and 50s, I do miss NE but not so much on this Wednesday.

Add a delightful face to my stroll and the day is near perfect. The walk takes me to The Fish Tale Brew Pub for a late lunch/snack of Smoked Salmon and assorted fruits and veggies Excellent!!! enjoy pjc

176 A smoke outside Indian Restaraunt

I have read many posts/discussions on Peter Lik’s $6.5 million photo Phantom. This one from the Guardian columnist Jonathon Jones Jonathon is not much of a fan of Photographic Art but is well read as of this post there are 1922 comments {comments not visible without creating account]. My work I feel is sometimes Photographic Art and sometimes Documentary with compassion some may consider it Fine Art. You decide I see it as visual words telling a part of a story made by a passionate observer. peace pjc

177 White Rice for Lunch

On this day after running errands I met my Daughter and Granddaughter and they were hungry. We went to Narai on 4th ave. My granddaughters idea. White rice she said which meant Basmati Thai food. It is all so simple for a child. enjoy pjc we did.

Late Day Sun Streams into the Harp in Willi

The Harp Willimantic-9-14-13-024

Dinner with Wulf arriving early I of course started to make images. Wulf brought Eva and the three of us had a grand time. The food was very good. Ah but the light moved off the empty table and into the doorway and our eyes finally finding its way behind a building ending natures evening bright bursts. enjoy pjc

THE WIDE SWINGING DOORS
—at the Harp on Church in Willimantic

Afternoon blasts in with the random patrons
coming through the wide swinging doors
down the two rows of booths
shutter blinks aimed at the bar
diners and drinkers lit up
and Eva, Peter and I at our table
are beside the framed sky
when the doors open up
to deliver us the billowed clouds
and the lengthening sun
that clings to the street as we leave.
