DSC_0040 People on the Bus 19-27

I ride the bus here in Olympia and the people are great. This woman’s rings and stockings created a graphic study for me. I shoot a lot of sections parts of human form some drift to abstract, some just wonderful graphic compositions. October 27 my 6th day in Wa. peace pjc

The Harp Willimantic-9-14-13-024

Dinner with Wulf arriving early I of course started to make images. Wulf brought Eva and the three of us had a grand time. The food was very good. Ah but the light moved off the empty table and into the doorway and our eyes finally finding its way behind a building ending natures evening bright bursts. enjoy pjc

THE WIDE SWINGING DOORS
—at the Harp on Church in Willimantic

Afternoon blasts in with the random patrons
coming through the wide swinging doors
down the two rows of booths
shutter blinks aimed at the bar
diners and drinkers lit up
and Eva, Peter and I at our table
are beside the framed sky
when the doors open up
to deliver us the billowed clouds
and the lengthening sun
that clings to the street as we leave.

Andover Last Light

08.25.2013 by Peter J. Crowley // 1 Comment

The last light of a summers day and, metaphorically last light on the old small governments. Lately I’ve been having trouble with time. Photographing my youth reflected by old roads with a digital camera. Most images are also shot on B+W film health and budget make the B+W slower to see. No film is not the expense it’s gas between here and my PhotoSynthesis a beautiful Co-Op dark room wet and dry. Lot’s of past not much present and the future is always unclear. This image really wants to be Kodachrome but no more so maybe Velvia. A very good reversal film [slide]. Well the sun beckons and I am off to somewhere between here and there. enjoy pjc
