The first 15 days of March 2021

03.16.2021 by Peter J. Crowley // Leave a Comment

Around the neighborhood a peak at spring.

March 3rd pots are waiting a bit of sprouts appear. Soon the pots will be filled with this springs flowers.

Blue skies, I did enrich the blue a bit. Like the big Oak up the street I shoot this Birch often.

Bits of color appear behind these soon to flower plants reaching for the sun.

A ray of light caught shooting a tree.

Ornamental Grass dances in a warm breeze.

There is a genre of photography called street photography. Here is my street photograph.

The flag bearer of spring is the crocus. I love these purple wonders.

Peace

Summer strolls Mid July

07.21.2019 by Peter J. Crowley // 4 Comments

July Adventures and Tomatoes

July 18 just up the street. The 1.4 pound 70-300 zoom that I can hand hold and focus? Still not a clue why this Quantaray lens for a film camera gives me all the exposure info on the diggie screen and image file? The lens is much heavier then other Nikon lens I can’t focus. It helps for the subject to be higher contrast. On a crop censor Nikon D3100 effectively almost 500mm.

July 20th another short walk

Today the 21st a long walk out 10:30 prior to the real warmth of the day. A mile and 1/3 kit lens. The lungs working well this week. Out at Elza’s recently down through the field to the river wander and see but no images. Back up the very steep hill. Breathing near normal. Now the heat has arrived with sun resulting in tomatoes.

A couple of silly sniffers outside my door. The Fifth of July.

July 21st, about ten minutes ago. I had another image but in a world of immediacy well it is only a 20 step walk. Breaking New Image. These tomato landscapes these beauties and delivering daily and the other three varieties this week. Let the salads and sauce begin.

Peace pjc
