July 02 The Muse Layered Life Westerly RI

04.17.2012 by Peter J. Crowley // 3 Comments

From the Last Session with my Muse of two years. An early image in the “Layered Life Portfolio.” We wandered around Westerly RI it was a perfect day. The image made on High St in the window of  84 High Street Cafe a great place to eat and socialize, the little boy inside, the woman on the left exiting and the Muse behind me reflecting in the window. Reflecting back this is one of my favorite images of The Muse. Perhaps one of my all time favorites but so many images it is hard to say for sure. So many unprinted negatives, my current health keeps me only able to print for an hour or two so I will share past images my favorites and some thoughts on creation perhaps you may pick up and idea or two.

Boa Island on Uconn Campus

04.14.2012 by Peter J. Crowley // 3 Comments

To the far right of what used to be the center of the Left is Boa Island. As they tear down the former Campus Restaurant I wonder if the island will be torn down or grow in the New Storrs Center. Wonder who owns the mortgage on the buildings on Dog Lane?  Phil’s gone “take paradise and put up a parking lot.”   enjoy pjc

Nice Former tree in background a shady place to sit while Storrs Automotive worked on your VW Beetle or Volvo.

Spring at The Salem Herb Farm

04.11.2012 by Peter J. Crowley // Leave a Comment

In one of the green houses “Cool Veggies Loving” Wanting a home in your garden.

The Color of Spring amidst sprinkles and sun I wandered. The smell of spring permeating the air and the inner senses of renewal, the circle of life.

A collage of color and life at “The Salem Herb Farm” a place I visit as often as I can it renews me with color plants, a great variety of chickens some sporting Mohawk hair dos. Goats, an Emu with magic and peace filling the spring air I highly recommend a visit for you seedlings, flowers and soul. These plants are grown locally with love, not trucked in to the big box. Buy Local support your community.                                                                                                                                                          enjoy pjc
