A Lost Boy at the Portland Or. Union Train Station

Portland Or Train Station 93-98-21_edited-1

Telling stories, creating emotions. The little boy looks across the waiting room to a grandmotherly women in line. She doesn’t know him the emotion I create here is of fear and being lost from the point of view of the boy. That is the story the emotion we have all felt at one time or another. enjoy pjc

The real story is the boy isn’t lost at all by stepping to the right I did not include his parents who were five feet to the right as their son took in the view of this magnificent old station and by composing [not cropping] the image to tell my tale, to create an emotion for you to add you story to the image.

From art to news feature I dance through the 70’s models, weathered wood, entry ways. Abstraction and the 80’s the figure and the flower motion and emotion more dance and more dance. The Theater, Opera, Dance “All the Usual Subjects” everyday is art and I dance to music I can see, just me and motion/emotion. 2001 a new city to create in the Overture is loud exciting but too much repetition. 2003 trauma and the music is softer, confused random notes float by with no connection to past or future just NOW. Technology is NOW yesterday is so yesterday. Auto everything 00101110 all problems solved with HTML. 2011 Major trauma the music is silent two years later there is short tunes and notes of the past sometimes bring me into focus. The Dance of the Muse needs more volume, more harmony not just quick. There is no harmony in a text message or little humanity just Now. Top image is Conn. College Dance, next image a Red Sunflower digital is from the 17th of August so yesterday. I’ll like to hear the Muse in a long focused tune of images, a project a theme.
Keep listening I tell myself the music is not over. peace pjc
