The Golden Hour, Last Light 2015

01.02.2016 by Peter J. Crowley // Leave a Comment

DSC_0031 S 40 Sat +10 After EyeX 12-31-15After my Eye Exam at Olympia Eye Clinic Dec. 31, 3:45 I walked out the door across the lot to my daughters car. Oops it wasn’t her car maybe the bright sun or the drops. By the door was this small fountain basking in  the “Golden Hour’s ” wonderful light I played with it as the light danced through the ornamental grass. Happy for auto focus because of the drops.

So 2016  will bring changes here a year of time travel as I review and scan my favorite work from the last 42 years. I hope to have a film scanner soon. Arranging my finances to afford the new device. Thanks to all who have recently purchased a print, my book only about 20 books left. If you don’t have one of this limited edition get one soon for your collection and to support the next book. Prints most on site are available click donation button to Pay Pal add name and address and print name or date published. Prices

Frost for 2016

01.01.2016 by Peter J. Crowley // 1 Comment

9:45 am shot sharpened a lot add contrast walked out and knew the effect I wanted wish the [Sh] kit lens was more optically sharp,  a consumer goodnuff lens from Nikon U$A. Also made a neg on Rollie RPX 400 with Red 25 filter with a Glass Nikon lens a real lens not needing artificial intelligence to pretend to be sharp. RPX is a red sensitive film results similar to IR film. Image to come later when I get a film scanner. 2016 more film more B+W not a resolution per say just coming home.

Three Images from Summer to Fall. Looking Through 2015 Files

12.28.2015 by Peter J. Crowley // 4 Comments

Despite knowing it is just another day years of programming has led me to a review. Here are three images one from July, and two from October. I plan on visiting this tradition of review a few more times. Always liked shooting more than printing so there is a few images to see. Contrast and a bit of added saturation pretty much just out of camera. Comments welcome, I’m getting use to digital any thoughts?
