Sad news. My show at Great Falls Discovery Center came down on the 27th

Sorry due to a combination of weather scheduling and health I chose to take the show down on Thursday. Art is hard to move in torrential rain. So am I. To those who missed the show I am sorry.

The folks at Great Falls were wonderful hosts and I can’t thank them enough for working with me to arrange this exhibition. Their first communication to me came shortly after a long hospital stay and was just what I needed to push me to create. Thank you.

The Great Hall where monthly exhibits are shown, but this is not just a gallery it is a wonderful natural history museum with many speakers, programs and dioramas. It is a wonderful day trip or more if you look into the area lots of art and music venues. Thank you Laurel, Paul and the staff.

Profile of a Sea Gull and Great Falls Exhibit Reception Saturday

From my new photo op burg. During dinner on the deck this Sea Gull posed in the late day sun to create a simple quiet moment. Nothing quiet around here last minute prep for Great Falls Opening tomorrow. A few last minute emails and a trip to the Market for snacks. Hope to see many of you tomorrow afternoon 1-3 it is a beautiful ride if you choose to leave 91 and travel Rt 5 & 10 Hope this map comes through if not Google Turners Falls Ma. Well the map seems to work here. If you enter from the south parking is last left before Bridge Detour sign. From the north park at first Rt. after bridge. Stopping in Greenfield for lunch at The Manna House it was great. We wandered around Greenfield for a bit after and were pleasantly surprised to see all the Public Art. This Ally Mural and the light caught my eye. Many other sculptures and Murals abound but those will be left for a wrap up post. Going up Saturday for my Artist Reception at Great Falls will be a more leisurely trip more time to shoot. More later as I learn new program for photos. enjoy pjc
