The walk today, drops of rain gently back lit by sun through passing thin clouds.
Almost back from the market turning to my yard the ground growth in one of the gardens rich satureated. Slight post process to these two add +10 to saturation to near the wonder of Kodachrome. Not an easy task.

The Daily well it won’t happen every day. The image may not be from that days images. So why The Daily, it sounds good LOL each day I shoot images with my Digital Nikon trying to learn how to optimize the quality of my images. Sometimes I’ll show these tests if they are fun, a good image and I can talk about what I tried to accomplish.
Today it is RED. I have found the most difficulty in creating images with lots of red. The problem has been separating the various densities without blocking up tones. today’s walk to the market provided my with this image. It was great to be able to wear shoes and walk for the first time since Wednesday.
This is right out of camera with shooting in Vivid +1 contrast WB for shadow and +1 saturation. In PS I took out some blue and a bit of green. Minor contrast, and lighting. so to me it is okay but in my mind when I made the image I felt there was more separate red values. Opinions welcome. enjoy pjc
