2019 – 2008 Why?

January 9, 2019 By Peter J. Crowley Leave a Comment

How does one arrive in 2008 today. A specific image sought and found easily thanks to Heather who organized my files. Serendipity I choose winter trees. Jan 9th 2008

Twenty one years ago a cold January day. I have reviewed these before never quite happy with the images. Not quite sharp 20mm FP4 Red Filter a bit of shake or shiver. Today I shiver without the cold Ct winds. Perhaps I am now more inclined to except the shiver and bright contrasting light.

Layered Life La Stella 2002 Norwich.

This from 2002 how does it fit today’s narrative. It doesn’t I don’t even like the word narrative. Agenda, brand, ya di ya di. Old remembering parents not understanding new. Now it’s me Photographic Art not content, edited [not the post process edit] for quality. Viewed before instant posting of everything on your camera I mean phone.

I wander through the years, my years without direction finding highlights and shadows. A volume of images/life fading away refusing to get with the flow. Art exquisitely presented, individual  visual words, not quick and cheap not today.  peace pjc

Tumwater Falls, shade a breeze and cool drinks on a hot day

May 14, 2018 Summer warmth.

A thirsty girl with help from Dad

A quiet day out of the sun for lunch on an eighty degree spring day. That’s what I was doing a bit of shade and a breeze.

A Couple Short Walks a Couple Days

May 15, 2018 By Peter J. Crowley Leave a Comment

Minds eye colors and life.

Lettuce I am surprised at my close up vision. Focus has been very sketchy lately but macro lens eyes work. Tired of vegetables and flowers.

Around the corner May 13 shot with Nikkor 105 also pretty well focused.

My Basil, my window, my world.

Outside my door an elusive poppy. Very orange but in bright sun photographs as yellow? Figured it out after numerous tests. Dozens of these splash color at me as I exit, purple and yellow Irises,  red,  green, shades of purple veggies.  A warm Overture as the curtain rises on a new day.
